  10.     The modem will be set for error correction as a factory default.  What 
  11. init string are you using and what software are you using to make your 
  12. connection to the ISP?  What exactly is happening when you try to make the 
  13. connection? The init string AT&F&C1&D2 will work fine in most cases.
